Almost Married – Kristty and David

Kristty and David met in college on everyone’s favorite vintage website, Xanga.com! They were both a little hesitant during their first date, so they each brought along their closest friend for support and supervision in case the evening wasn’t as perfect as they hoped. It didn’t take long for the two to hit it off and realize they wouldn’t need to be chaperoned!
 
After five years of dating, David had plenty of time to come up with the perfect way to pop that question that would check off everything on Kristty’s list for the perfect proposal; to be surprised, to be dressed up and for her friends and family to be involved. After some odd behavior and stalling tactics on the way to dinner with his “cousin John,” the couple arrived at the Melting Pot where the waitress led them straight into a back room with low lighting and a huge projection screen. A video began playing with 21 of Kristty’s closest friends and family talking about why David loved her. Through her tears Kristty saw David down on one knee and said, “YES!!” before he even finished talking!

The pair will tie the knot March 1, and will follow Vietnamese tradition by incorporating an intimate tea ceremony on the day of the wedding. Congrats to this sweet couple and thanks to Celina Gomez Photography for sharing their adorable engagement photos.
