Modern Tropical Wedding Inspiration from As You Wish Events

Summer is here and we can’t wait to share this tropical-inspired design concepted by DFW wedding planner Rachel Burt of As You Wish Events! The Nuvo Room offered the perfect modern background combined with brightly colored florals from The Wildflower. Elegant ghost chairs from Suite 206 and a custom made white table provided perfect accentuations for the contemporary feel of the tabletop. Fun acrylic place cards and menus from Simply Mox adorned the table, along with rentals from Posh Couture Rentals and hot pink napkins from BBJ. The tropically inspired blooms were housed in simple white vessels, creating the perfect contrast of elegant minimalism with pretty pops of color. Makeup by Wendy Zerrudo provided hair and makeup for the beautiful bride, who wore a timeless Amsale gown from The Bridal Salon at Neiman Marcus. Culinary Art Catering even created several fun appetizers that would be perfect for a summer soiree.
