Being a nature-loving couple, lovebirds Clair and Ross envisioned an elegant boho wedding celebration that represented their style and sense of adventure. The team at Embrace the Day Events helped them every step of the way with chic rentals from Posh Couture Rentals along with timeless airy florals from Everly Alaine that fit the vision perfectly. THEIR STORY: After mutual friends introduced them, Clair and Ross soon became friends. Ross called her every morning to wake her up for class — for a year — before they began dating.
THE PROPOSAL: On a rainy day, Ross tricked Clair into meeting him on the rooftop of their apartment building where he was waiting with her favorite flowers, yellow roses, scattered along the ground. Ross got down on one knee and asked Clair to be his forever and always. She said yes!
THE SETTING: Being a nature-loving couple, Clair and Ross wanted a venue that represented their style and sense of adventure. The venue couples modern architecture with a wooden oasis to create a unique, natural feel, minutes from downtown Dallas.
AMAZING ALTAR: A floral arch nestled in the butterfly garden, made of natural greenery with muted and white flowers to add a nice contrast to the fall foliage of the venue.
BEAUTIFUL BLOOMS: Clair opted to have Leslie from Everly Alaine Florals create a timeless, airy bouquet of white, blush and peach tones to complement the outdoor scenery.
MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT: Clair’s most memorable moment was the dance she shared with her mother to “Mama’s Song” by Carrie Underwood. Clair’s mom played the role of both mom and dad while Clair was growing up, so she was thrilled to be able to honor her. Ross’ most memorable moment was Clair’s long, dramatic walk down the aisle. He described it as the most breathtaking and memorable moment of his life.
