Glamorous Ivory and Emerald Green Wedding

When looking at Nancy and Osazee’s ivory and emerald green glamorous wedding, the first word that comes to mind is WOW! This wedding is truly dazzling and all things glam. Both Doctors and Texas natives the couple met while living in Chicago. The couple thanks their careers and their Texas roots that brought the two of them together. Osazee proposed to Nancy in Boston with thirty of their closest family and friends. Nancy was under the impression that she was going to a surprise birthday party for her friend. However, Osazee completely surprised her and got down on one knee. Between the tears of joy, Nancy was able to muster up a YES.

The couple’s glamorous wedding is nothing short of spectacular. Randi Yarrell with Rae Lawson Events helped Nancy and Osazee execute this glamorous dream wedding. Nancy and Osazee wanted to ensure that no guest missed out on what they had in store, so they hosted the ceremony and reception at their host hotel. Great idea to make things easier on out-of-town guests! The ceremony began with the sweet noise of a violin cascading through the space. Osazee started to get emotional as he watched his beautiful bride meet him at the altar. Seeing Nancy walk down the aisle became Osazee’s favorite memory of the whole day. After Nancy and Osazee said “I do” and sealed their love with a kiss, they headed into the glamorous reception space. Tall ivory floral arrangements graced each table, accompanied by candlelight. The couple’s DJ ushered everyone into the glamorous space as guests enjoyed dinner and watched the couple’s first dance. Nancy and Osazee honored their Nigerian heritage on the dance floor, which is our favorite wedding detail. The couple and their wedding party changed into traditional Nigerian attire and danced to traditional Nigerian music. As the couple danced, guests took turns showering the couple with money (this is a tradition seen at all Nigerian celebrations). Finally, the night concluded with a tunnel of sparkles as Nancy and Osazee left as the new Dr. & Dr. Mrs. Eguae!
