For February’s Vows That Wow, we’re thrilled to feature Shawna & Solomon’s unforgettable wedding—an elegant, immersive celebration that left guests in awe.

The Wedding Day

Shawna and Solomon’s wedding day was nothing short of magical. As guests arrived, the sky filled with clouds, adding to the cozy and intimate atmosphere. The celebration kicked off in style with a spectacular cocktail hour featuring a champagne sabering ceremony, a breathtaking ice sculpture overflowing with fresh seafood, and a selection of delicious passed appetizers. Guests were delighted with an interactive painting station, delicious bites from Vestals Catering, a stylish cigar bar, and the sentimental cake pull tradition, where charms hidden in the cake revealed mini fortunes. For refreshments, signature cocktails and a cozy coffee cart from Nightowl Coffee kept spirits high.

The reception was a true showstopper, with stunning décor provided by BBJ La Tavola, Top Tier Event Rentals & Staffing, Perch Decor, and POSH Couture Rentals. The ambiance was perfected with expert entertainment by Marquise Pro, ensuring the dance floor stayed packed all night.

Shawna looked radiant thanks to the talented team at Tease to Please Hair and Makeup, while Kimberly Harrell Photo + Films captured every cherished moment with artistry and precision. Blissful Details by Aaliyah documented all the behind-the-scenes magic, preserving the essence of their day in a unique and personal way.

The Omni PGA Frisco Resort provided luxurious accommodations and hosted a beautiful rehearsal dinner, allowing the couple and their guests to enjoy a full weekend of celebration in style.

Shawna & Solomon’s Favorite Moment

“Our favorite wedding memory was the Groom’s brother’s speech. His speech was totally unexpected and made us laugh so hard. Something we will remember forever,” the couple shares.

Adding to the evening’s magic, Shawna and Solomon surprised guests with a grand re-entrance in new attire. Solomon made a statement in a blush pink tuxedo featuring a collage of black-and-white photos of the couple—a heartfelt, stylish tribute that turned heads and melted hearts.
