Regal Reigns
With two highly publicized royal weddings captivating audiences near and far, there’s no question that this pop culture moment influenced designs and made its way across the pond to altars around the country, even landing locally with real DFW brides and serving as inspiration in many of our favorite styled shoots! Long lace sleeves, high necks and conservative glamour caught our eyes and certainly captured our hearts!

Off-Shoulder Silhouettes
From ultra-romantic to ethereal bohemian, the off-shoulder trend continued to hold its place as one of the most well-liked (and not to mention flattering) silhouettes of the year! Its great versatility with a multitude of fabrics allowed for the look to shine on any bride donning the shape, no matter the style of the dress or her wedding.

Pearl Detailing
While most bridal designers are rarely shy to embrace embellishments across a collection or two, this year gave us plenty to ooh and ahh about with the clear favoritism toward pearl detailing on gowns of all styles. From subtle additions to the bodice to all-over arrangements, we too embraced the delicate beadwork of these eye-catching adornments!

Powder Blue Hues
Color experimentation may not be considered typical for the most traditional of brides, but this year proved a definite nod of approval toward the trend when it comes to soft pastel shades like blush and most notably a soft, powder blue! While providing a more experimental color option, we love that the delicate hue isn’t too vast of a departure from an all-white tradition, making it the perfect shade to have embraced the new!
