Sparks Fly Ever Since the 4th of July

Mitchell and Ali’s journey began in the summer of 2016, when both chose to spend their break in Dallas. A mutual friend’s invitation to a 4th of July country club pool party led to their meeting, where a hot dog eating contest sparked their initial connection. This humorous beginning led them to spend the remainder of the summer together. As their senior year commenced, the frequency of their weekend visits solidified their relationship, prompting Mitchell to ask Ali to be his girlfriend. Mitchell stood by Ali as she pursued her dreams of nursing and cheering for the Dallas Stars Hockey Team. Celebrating seven years of togetherness, Mitchell proposed to Ali at the American Airlines Center, with a friend capturing the moment and a surprise party with close friends following the proposal.
