Almost Married – Jordan and Dalton

Jordan and Dalton met their freshman year at Oklahoma State University where a mutual friend first introduced them. After Jordan evaluated Dalton’s record collection, she decided to get to know him better, and the rest is history!

As their annual Thanksgiving party arrived, Jordan had no idea of the surprise coming her way. A few hours before the event was to begin, Jordan and Dalton decided to take a break from the chaos and go for a walk in the woods of OSU’s botanical garden. Along the walk, Dalton pulled Jordan to the side of the path into a grove of trees and kissed her. As the leaves were falling around them, he nervously began a speech about how he couldn’t imagine his life without her and eventually pulled out the ring to pop the question. Jordan was all tears and excitement as she nodded and threw her arms around him before he could even put the ring on her finger. As the couple was driving away, Dalton turned to Jordan with a look of horror on his face and said, “I forgot to get down on one knee!” Although true, Jordan admits that Dalton has never needed to beg her and finds it fitting that they are starting their next stage of life standing together as equal partners in life and in love.
