It was love at first sight for Griffin when he first laid eyes upon Katherine at church the first Sunday before their freshman year of college.  It wasn’t a coincidence that the two lived in the same dorm at UT and had frequent run-ins at the Cypress Bend dorm café on campus! At the end of their sophomore year, charming Griffin and fun-loving Katherine began to date and soon fell in love.

Griffin decided to pop the question on November 20, 2011, at the nostalgic Cypress Bend cafe where he got down on one knee and proposed at the amphitheater behind the dorm. Katherine was the happiest girl in the world!  To celebrate, Griffin took Katherine to Amy’s Ice Cream where her friends were waiting to surround the newly engaged couple with congratulations.

Katherine and Griffin will tie the knot this summer at First United Methodist Church in Arlington with a reception to follow at City Club Fort Worth.  Congratulations Griffin and Katherine!  Thanks to Andrea Polito for sharing these cute photos with us!
