PERFECT PROPOSAL: John proposed to Amanda at the house she lived in after college. He had made plans to take her to dinner and was noticeably nervous. He opened the car door for her, and the ring was sitting there. Amanda turned around, and John was on one knee, asking her to marry him. The ring was John’s grandmother’s, making the proposal that much more special.

THE SETTING: The reception venue was vintage while also elegant. The doorways and windows were arched, opening up to the city of Dallas, providing an absolutely breathtaking view! There were also chandeliers, a huge cocktail hour space and an outdoor patio that overlooked the city.

HUES SHE USED: Amanda wanted her wedding to be traditional and elegant. To bring this vision to life, she used lighter hues to brighten up the reception space. She also selected white and pink blooms to bring a little color the room.

SAVORY SWEETS: Amanda and John wanted a simple cake because of the large and detailed flower wall staged behind it. The white frosted cake had a large flower cascading down the edges, tipped in gold. It featured two flavors, almond and raspberry filling with plain white cake.

MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT: Amanda loved so many memories from her special day. The emotional first look with her dad, meeting eyes with John as she walked down the aisle and, of course, their first dance. At the end of the evening, Amanda and John shared one last dance together and ended up dancing with her grandparents. It was one of the most special moments of the entire wedding!
