It’s FINALLY time to reveal the all new Spring/Summer 2018 Brides of North Texas cover! We’ve been sharing little sneak peeks of what you’ll find in the new issue over the last week, and we are beyond thrilled to finally reveal our beautiful cover featuring the lovely Victoria Thomas and her dashing groom, Canon Cornelius, captured by North Texas wedding photographer Allen Tsai Photography! We received hundreds of amazing submissions from beautiful Texas brides, but knew this image was the perfect fit for the Spring/Summer issue!

The bride’s dress was the combination of a beautiful Hayley Paige skirt from De Ma Fille and a custom designed bodice featuring a deep-V neck. She kept her look polished with a subtle, yet elevated, natural makeup look perfectly executed by Jennifer Trotter – Lip Service Makeup, along with a delicate low updo with soft curls framing her face. She carried a bouquet of loose and free flowing greenery and classic white florals arranged by Sage Fine Flowers. The groom went for a classic black tie look complete with a white dinner jacket, bow tie and loafers. We can’t wait for you to see their classic white wedding on pages A25-26 of the new issue (featuring a towering cake by Creme de la Creme Cake Company and mix-n-match bridesmaids’ attire from Bella Bridesmaids)! Our team is still excitedly celebrating the New Year, and what better way to keep the festivities going than to share this glamorous and moody New Year’s Eve wedding inspiration that North Texas photographer Rachel Elaine Photography shared with us! The black tablescape was topped with metallic tableware from Top Tier Event Rentals + Staffing, dramatic wine-hued florals and the ever-trending tapered candles. Each place setting held holiday appropriate favors of champagne flavored candy and party horns. The model bride looked winter-chic in her sleek chignon and barely-there smokey eye, both by Brittany Jones Hair & Makeup. She wore a large-print, floral-embellished gown with gold detailing from Lovely Bride and paired lace-y vintage style Bella Belle shoes with the look. Needless to say, both the fashion and table styling are 2018 ready! Cheers!

We couldn’t wait to share Natalie and Danny’s fun and playful Downtown McKinney engagement shoot with all of our brides-to-be! Laylee Emadi Photography could’t have captured this lively couple any more beautifully. The couple’s sweet personalities and adoration for one another truly shines through in each photo.

While this couple met through a shared class in high school, they didn’t begin dating until college. Danny was attending the University of Oklahoma, and Natalie transferred her sophomore year to be with him. Natalie says the rest was history!

Over the Easter weekend this year, Natalie and Daniel joined her family in Gruene, Texas, for what Natalie thought would just be a family night out with dinner and family photos at the Historic Gruene Hall. By the time it was Natalie and Danny’s turn for photos of just the two of them, everyone knew what was to come except for Natalie. After about two shots, Danny turned to Natalie holding both her hands and said, “Five years ago, I gave you a present for Easter. What was it?” When Natalie recalled the ring with her birthstone on it given to her when she was baptized five years before, she answered, “A ring.” Before she knew it, he was down on one knee with the biggest smile she said she had ever seen, holding a new ring for her!

The lively couple will say “I do” in March 2018 with a rustic glamour wedding featuring hues in navy, marsala, gold and creme! We can’t wait to see Natalie’s dream wedding come to life and the couple to have their happily-ever-after! Congratulations, Natalie and Danny, and thanks to Laylee Emadi for sharing this sweet shoot with us!

We can’t take our eyes off this bride and groom-to-be from this romantic engagement shoot by Rachel Elaine Photography! With the sun shining bright on Dove Ridge Vineyard, all we can see is Tara and Connor’s love and compassion for one another!

These high school sweethearts’ paths first crossed during their junior year. Connor was able to charm Tara while both walking to class one day, and many more walks were soon to come! They attended Texas Tech University together, and enjoyed dinner dates at the Fort Worth Petroleum Club regularly. Tara expected another ordinary dinner date, but little did she know her friends and family were waiting patiently in a room nearby. Following dinner, Tara and Connor were enjoying the sunset when Tara turned to see him down on one knee!

The couple will be married in front of the rolling hills and sunset view at Dove Ridge Vineyard on September 16. Their romantic-themed wedding to be planned by Events by Jade will be flowing with beautiful ivory and gold, featuring touches of greenery. Cheers to the future Mr. and Mrs.!
