Galia Lahav’s new collection of gowns is guaranteed to catch your attention. After taking a look at the Victorian Affinity line, it  is easy to see why these stunning dresses are taking the bridal fashion world by storm. The line was named after the era in which they were inspired – a time period that was known for its innovations and revolution. As stated in the story behind this collection, the day to day atmosphere during this time was recognized with optimism, romance and admiration for the feminine body. Showcasing an extraordinary color palette of porcelain ivory, dusted silves, washed pinks, smoky blush and an array of creams, these bold yet classic styles, in addition to their deep colored backgrounds, feature delicate textured lace and pay careful attention to detail from the neckline to the hem. Speaking of necklines, be sure to admire the stunning Victorian trademarked high collars as well as the dramatic detachable sleeves and capes. Another nod to Victorian couture featured in this collection are the visionary silhouettes and endless trains that cascade down the aisle. The Theia spring 2018 bridal collection was inspired by what creative director Don O’Neil refers to as “pearls of wisdom.” Pearls hold many unique attributes such as their strength and integrity, two characteristics prominently showcased throughout the stunning new line. Each gown embodies O’Neil’s fascination with pearls, whether through the opalescence of the line’s color scheme of ivory, white, blush, pale blue and gray or the abundance of pearl embroidery featured. The focus is 100% on the bride in this glam Dallas Arboretum wedding! Bride Hannah looked stunning in her lace-sleeve Galia Lavah gown with plunging neckline and open back as she wed her longtime beau, Glen. She stood alongside her bridesmaids wearing sparkling silver Adrianna Pappell designs. Grand Slam Glam completed the look with a luxe bridal beauty look of long, flowing locks and smoldering makeup. Embrace the Day Events transformed the Dallas Arboretum into the whimsical and enchanted wedding day the couple wanted with glamorous gold details, overflowing blush floral arrangements and eucalyptus garland swag. The Olana – This notable mansion is built on an expansive 40-acre estate complimented with its own lake. Inspired by French baroque architecture, the mansion was built as an homage to Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte in Paris. The estate features lush landscaping, and a tea room modeled after New York’s Tavern on the Green.

Coupling Texas charm with simple sophistication, Meggie Taylor Photography did a phenomenal job capturing the love of Nicole and Parker. We love this chic engagement shoot for its eye-catching color and endearing intimacy featured throughout a few of our favorite Dallas hotspots. Whether sharing a kiss, walking hand in hand or laughing while gazing into one another’s eyes, we are smitten by the sweet romance shared between this dapper couple.

As Nicole stated, it was love at first swipe. She and Parker actually met on Tinder, but their relationship soon surpassed the screens. Adoration for one another deepened, and it wasn’t long before Parker began to plan the perfect proposal. In early September, Nicole received an email invitation to celebrate Parker’s promotion at work. She didn’t think anything of it, so she sought every which way to get out of the event. As fate would have it, Nicole was convinced by Parker’s persistence and the couple set out on a dazzling evening. The clues were all there between Parker’s nerves, dinner planned at her favorite restaurant and The Wedding Planner playing on the TV before leaving, but Nicole was oblivious. When arriving at their destination, the couple approached a dinner table dressed with champagne, roses and candles. Nicole was sure that the table was for someone else, but to her surprise, Parker responded by getting down on one knee and asking her to marry him.

Congratulations to the future Mr. and Mrs! We are so excited to see their Southern charm wedding with a Texas twist come together in November. And thank you Meggie Taylor Photography for sharing your talented work. Cheers!

Alexa and Aaron said “I Do” to forever on the most beautiful October day. Surrounded by friends, family and the stunning fall foliage, this sweet couple celebrated their joining together at Alexa’s grandparent’s private residence just outside the city. The setting planned by Shannon Rose Events truly could not have been more ideal. The organic hues being displayed from the outdoors perfectly complemented Alexa’s color palette of marsala, blush, apricot and gold. Lush Couture Floral made the bride’s dreams a reality by placing breathtaking blooms across the entire property. From the floating floral runner cascading above the head table to the incredible blooming ceremony arch that sat beside the water, this serene setting looked like something out of a fairytale. Alexa looked like absolute royalty in her tulle and lace ball gown from Pence and Panace Bridal Boutique. The couple’s sweet ceremony and intimate reception embodied all the down-home feels that a Southern wedding should while also establishing a whimsy, elegant aura. The blissful newlyweds say that their day was everything they could have imagined and more. Cheers!
