Lovely Garden Engagement Shoot by Gray Door Photography

Friday, April 7th, 2017

Photos by Gray Door Photography

Can Kaitlyn and Bret get any cuter?! We are over-the-moon for this lovely garden engagement shoot at the Dallas Arboretum. These photos by Gray Door Photography perfectly capture the looks of love between this darling couple, and we can’t get enough!

Kaitlyn and Bret both attended Texas A&M University, but they didn’t meet until after college when they attended the same church in Dallas. The pair began hanging out as friends and soon hit it off. They were engaged ten months later! Bret proposed to Kaitlyn near the lake at the same spot where they officially started dating. It was the most special day for them both!

Kaitlyn and Bret will be married in May at The White Sparrow. They are planning a beautiful and soft wedding with neutral tones accented with greenery and wood details. Cheers to the happy couple!

Glamorous Industrial Wedding Inspiration from Katie Frost Weddings

Friday, March 31st, 2017

Photos by Gray Door Photography

The inspiration for this glamorous industrial wedding inspiration shoot grew from Katie Frost Weddings and her team’s fondness of intimate, meaningful weddings, a love of texture and a true passion for all things romantic. The exposed brick and rustic wooden details at Mopac Event Center are rich with character, making it the perfect place to bring this vision to reality. The floral arrangements crafted by Flourish Floral Design were romantically overgrown, bringing the outdoors in. The stationary pieces incorporated unique elements of texture in the gold foiling, hand-torn edges and wooden paper backing. The model bride wore an elegant, beaded, low-back sheath gown from Pence and Panache. The finishing touch – a mini, nearly naked chocolate cake – was layered with blackberry curd and iced in vanilla buttercream and chocolate ganache drips. Yum! This beautiful shoot captured by Gray Door Photography has us in the mood for a weekend full of wedding inspo pinning! Happy Friday!

Lakeside Dallas Engagement Shoot by Courtney Hanson Photography

Monday, March 27th, 2017

Photos by Courtney Hanson Photography

We are swooning over Meredith and Scott’s beautiful lakeside Dallas engagement photos by Courtney Hanson Photography! The darling couple is beaming in front of their wedding chapel-to-be, Perkins Chapel, as well as cozied up lakeside together. The love between the two is radiating!

Meredith and Scott crossed paths while attending the University of Texas, but they were first introduced at a ranch party a few years after they had both graduated. Because they lived in separate cities at the time, their love story didn’t begin for another few years when Scott moved to Dallas. They were soon smitten with each other! One evening in New Orleans, the couple was having dinner at one of Scott’s family’s favorite restaurants. Meredith was focused on choosing a dessert when Scott began his heartfelt proposal and knelt down on one knee to propose. In tears, Meredith said yes!

Meredith and Scott will be married this June. The bride-to-be is thrilled to see her navy, white and peach wedding come to life, and we can’t wait to see it either! Cheers!
