Summer flows beautifully into fall in this transitional seasonal wedding inspo featuring bold, beautiful mustard tones with peach accents and clean, modern lines. We all know Texas summers linger long into September and as the brightness of summer fades, shades of mustard, peach and blush make their way onto the scene. Davis & Grey Farms‘ modern farmhouse venue shows just how sophisticated it can be when its sleek modern architecture is transformed and softened by organic, cascading florals and an ethereal tablescape joining subtle wood tones, mustard mercury glass and simple, elegant place settings with gold accents. Butterfly Cakery‘s four-tier, floral-adorned cake with ivory icing is flanked by antique gold pieces, as well. The outdoor ceremony spot invites an intimate gathering as the bride wears a classically feminine A-line gown with a low updo by Lip Service Makeup accentuating her bare shoulders and a warm mauve makeup palette that ties in with the warm shades in the florals. From the photographer: “The vision for this shoot was to create something that felt like summer blending into autumn. In Texas, August and September are right on the edge of fall, but there’s still the lingering feeling of summer. We chose a color palette of mustard and blush with lots of greenery to convey this (the blush to bring in that light summer vibe, and the warm mustard to give a hint of fall). I also wanted to bring in some strong, punchy colors while maintaining an overall soft, ethereal vibe. I think this was done so well with the mix of vintage and modern in the rentals and table setup, the tulle dress in a blush hue, and the simple, clean lines of the modern barn venue. The florals were also so perfect with their wild, ethereal design but with bold hues.”
