Like stepping straight into a Malibu-style beach house, Cassie Loree Photography captured the magic of the retro inspired vibe in everything from the tablescape to the lounge area. With tons of ferns, palm fronds and exotic greenery-based table arrangements from R. Love Floral, the scene was set with tropic-like foliage. A coordinating paper suite by LaneLove Paper Co. featured neat and tidy black and white calligraphy, bold black typography, banana leaf lined envelopes and a simple black and white striped ribbon to top it all off! Brik Special Events Venue‘s clean and modern interiors of wood floors and beige walls were the perfect backdrop for a fun tablescape and seated cocktail lounge featuring trendy, modern decor pieces. Top Tier Event Rentals + Staffing provided a dark wood table and ghost chairs for a fresh table area, with a mix of inky black serveware, gold flatware and glasses from Coral Lane for the place settings adding a sleek touch. In the separate lounge area, a variety of seating styles and an abstract printed rug created an inviting space to enjoy tropical cocktails hand-crafted by HD Liquid Catering. From the planner: “I was inspired by a retro tropic style highlighting black and white, tropical greenery and pops of gold accent. The style is clean and modern, with an old school twist. I created an inviting space to dine and sip cocktails with our sleek tablescape design and cocktail style lounge area, complete with craft cocktails! By keeping the color palette neutral, we maintained a sleek and minimal design with a focus on mixing patterns and textures.”
