House of Tales Events planned the prettiest traditional glam wedding for Abigail and Jonathan that played out in incredibly elegant scenes of blush, navy, ivory and gold palette. Lovebirds Abigail and Jonathan first met in May 2016 while both working for the Frisco RoughRiders minor league baseball team. At the time, Jonathan was a corporate marketing manager while Abigail was an in-game host. Over the next few months, they became friends and began to date, then eventually they were a couple! The pair originally planned to be wed in July of 2020 but as the pandemic ensued, they made the decision to postpone until March of 2021. When the day finally came, it only made everything sweeter! Bride Abigail looked simply stunning in her Eve of Milady mermaid silhouette from StarDust Celebrations complemented by soft blush bridesmaids’ attire from Lulu’s Bridal in unique styles that suited each of her best gals perfectly. Their ceremony was stunning from start to finish and shrouded in beautiful blue and ivory blooms that contrasted with the pale pink accents and monochrome bouquets, but this bride’s favorite moment happened just after they said their I do’s and sealed them with a kiss.
“My favorite wedding day memory was the moment we were introduced as husband and wife,” says Abigail.
“To turn to walk back down the aisle hand in hand and see all of our friends and family who had come to witness our marriage literally brought me to tears. It was the moment you always dream of, and to finally embrace it was a feeling I will never forget.” They took that magic with them into their fairytale reception set with greenery, gold and crystal décor to engulf creamy white tablescapes that gave way to Culinary Art Catering and their delicious creations. Finally, a glitzy five-tiered design sporting each’s initials from Creme De La Creme Cake Company served as a little something sweet, along with all the elegant and luxe glam of Abigail and Jonathan’s traditional glam wedding – all captured in breathtaking photos and video by Lorena Burns Photography and Films so they can look back on the best day ever, over and over again. Once their limo left the venue, the bride and groom dropped their belongings off at their hotel room and headed back out in full wedding attire to the Concrete Cowboy Bar where their friends and family visiting town kept the party going even longer! Abigail said this was one of her favorite memories, and highly suggests going out with friends and family after your big day (still wearing your wedding dress, of course). We couldn’t agree more and love how much fun this couple brought to their traditional glam wedding. Read on for a note from the bride about her dream wedding maker and what made them so special. Cheers to the new Mr. and Mrs. Fletcher!
From the bride: “My amazing wedding planner, Maya, from House of Tales Events! Through postponing our wedding, changing contracts and details last minute, Maya and her team at House of Tales Events never even blinked an eye. They made the whole process easier than you could’ve ever hoped for. She is the one who introduced me to all of our phenomenal vendors who made our wedding a DREAM. Seeing our wedding pulled together had my dreams and Maya’s vision all over it.”
