Maddie Wuensche Weds Wesley Polk | Boho North Texas Wedding by Embrace the Day Events

We love the boho style of Maddie and her hubby Wesley. From the barefoot bride to the boys in their Hawaiian shirts, (in honor of the groom’s late father) this celebration was so much fun and featured fabulous florals from Everly Alaine that adorned the light and airy DFW wedding venue Hidden Pines Chapel. Wedding planner Amanda from Embrace the Day Events handled every detail and hand-picked the perfect North Texas wedding vendors to create the boho vibe Maddie envisioned. Maddie and Wesley’s paths first crossed at a camp for incoming freshmen at Texas A&M University. On the bus ride to the campsite, the group was challenged to speak to a new person every 30 seconds. When Wesley sat next to Maddie, he immediately began talking. They both thought the other was cute and as luck would have it, they were placed in the same small group at the camp. The pair started dating one month later and have been together ever since!

Wesley made an entire day out of his proposal. After church, the couple enjoyed brunch where he gave Maddie a letter informing her she was going to receive 33 letters that day and he promptly disappeared. Ending a day of fun and meaningful letters, the sun set at her parents’ beautiful home where the pair’s family members lined a path to the gazebo, each clutching a letter. As she made her way to Wesley, he asked her to marry him.

Upon arriving at Hidden Pines Chapel on their wedding day, Maddie walked around and marveled at the beauty that had been created! No detail had been left unturned, including the groomsmen wearing Hawaiian shirts in honor of the groom’s late father. The couple enjoyed seeing all 325 of their closest family and friends and they danced the night away!
