What are the advantages of doing a makeup trial run before the big day?
Bridal makeup trials are super important for brides who are still on the fence on what kind of look they want to do for their big day. I highly recommend a trial run for brides who don’t normally wear makeup. This allows the makeup artist and the bride to be on the same page on how natural or how glam the bride-to-be wants to look day of.
What advice do you have for a bride trying to find the right look for her day?
Be You. Your future hubby is marrying the most beautiful woman in the world in his eyes, and you want to look just that. Of course, eyelashes, a little blush and a perfect glowy complexion will have you looking picture perfect, but you want to still feel like YOU! Accentuate your best features – don’t hide them!
What beauty product should every bride have with her at all times?
LIPSTICK/GLOSS
Speaking of, what’s your favorite shade of lipstick?
I love timeless and feminine colors, so I think my favorite shades are hues of pink/nude. I am currently obsessed with Faux by MAC.
How does a bride choose between an updo or loose curls?
The veil, head pieces and the style of the dress are things to take into consideration. Most brides whose dresses have a lot of detail in the back/backless dresses tend to do up-dos or side-dos. Loose curls are so popular right now too for that gorgeous “effortless” natural look. Half up-dos are also a great choice if you want your hair pulled up and out of your face but still want a more polished look. Just remember, it’s your wedding day. Do what makes you feel beautiful!
What beauty trends do you predict for the fall?
Natural brows and bold lips.
How can a bride keep her make-up looking fresh and flawless throughout her big day?
Keep blotting papers, a nice gloss/lipstick to retouch and eyelash glue on hand. After all the happy tears, it’s best to be prepared.
