Courtney met her future husband during a study group in college. It was their sophomore year of college at Texas A&M and Courtney would often study with Tyler’s roommates. She didn’t know Tyler very well at the time but they became friends their junior year and really hit it off that next summer. They started to realize they had feelings for each other and officially started dating. Three and a half years later, Tyler knew he was ready to pop the question.

Tyler had planned a casual day around town and decided to “spontaneously” make a romantic dinner, or that’s what Courtney thought. Just after enjoying the home cooked meal, Tyler got down on one knee and proposed. After Courtney said yes, the newly engaged couple went to Courtney’s parents’ house where both sides of their families were there to celebrate.
