What started as just a platonic college friendship quickly turned into a full-on romance when Carter Brown took a chance and asked Caylin Godfrey on their first date. The two were instantly smitten, realizing their foundation would pave the way for their future! Fast forward a few years later, the couple was on a fun trip to visit New York City and decided to start their morning with blueberry bagels and cream cheese. Strolling through Central Park on a crisp morning, Caylin had no idea that she would shortly be saying “Yes!” to the love of her life! Carter proposed there in the park, marking the start of a brand new chapter.
For their engagement session, Caylin chose The Boulangerie, her favorite coffee spot in Lower Greenville, as the starting place of their shoot. The two then strolled through various locations around Downtown Dallas with Laylee Emadi Photography capturing the adorable shots.
The couple will wed on August 4, 2018, at the Brake and Clutch Warehouse surrounded by the love of family and friends. Caylin has selected a bright and cheery color scheme, with the theme of the wedding being romantic garden elegance. Her bridesmaids will be wearing berry-colored gowns to perfectly complement the warm-hued floral arrangements she selected for the space. Her favorite detail from their planning process so far? Special hand-painted wedding invitations created by none other than her own twin sister! We can’t wait to see their special day come to life!
