Wedding Inspiration

This Edgy Emerald Wedding Inspiration had the Coolest Styled Grand Exit

You don’t have to be a biker bride to love this emerald wedding inspiration, but it might help if you were! This styled edgy elopement held at Margot Hill Weddings and Events shows that your wedding doesn’t have to be rustic to look simply stunning inside and outside of the venue – this place has so much range! A gorgeous emerald green invitation suite hand-crafted by Bethany’s Letter Shop is the perfect balance of wedding elegance and edgy with moody black envelopes to house this pretty paperie, and we love how the detail shots were sweetened up by fresh-cut magnolia blooms. Bringing bubbly in the most fun way to incorporate bartending into your wedding, Bubbles and Brews Dallas and their mobile bar are here to save the day! Our favorite part is the champagne wall built by the family of the venue owners – the chicest DIY touch to any wedding! Read on for a note from the venue owner about the vision behind this edgy emerald wedding inspiration, plus a funny fact about the faux newlyweds’ super cool staged exit on a Harley! Cheers!

From the owner of Margot Hill Weddings and Events: “This was a shoot that I have been dreaming up since we first bought our wedding venue in March but due to COVID we had to postpone it for three months! I wanted to bring something a bit edgier to East Texas. Although our venue CAN be rustic, I wanted to show brides that Margot Hill can also be modern, elegant and edgy. My sweet Dad built the champagne wall so the whole thing really was a labor of love/family affair. Also, I have three small children, so a green velvet couch will never be able to live in my house, but it was the perfect addition to our venue! The Harley Davidson was a local guy’s. Funny story – apparently those things get HOT, and when we moved it for a different shot, we had to wait for 30 minutes for it to cool off or else he said it would have MELTED the dress!”
