Ashley Denninger Weds Guy Shambo | Elegant Ballroom Wedding at The Adolphus

North Texas wedding planner, Weddings By Stardust, brought Ashley and Guy’s elegant ballroom wedding to life. With its rich history and the bride’s fond memories of eating with her grandmother at the hotel growing up, The Adolphus Hotel held a special place in Ashley’s heart, which made it the perfect spot for them to say “I do.”  Surrounded by their friends and family, Ashley and Guy exchanged vows in front of a draped altar with towering floral arrangements flanking them. Joseph Mark Photography was able to capture every special moment from the couple’s first kiss to the dance party at the reception. Ashley and Guy grew up within a few miles from each other but didn’t meet until later in life. They met online and quickly realized that they went to the same middle school and high school and shared a number of friends. Guy is five years older so their paths never crossed. After realizing that they had a lot of similarities, a friendship formed that eventually grew into a relationship.
Guy pulled off the perfect proposal at Ashley’s 30th birthday party. Several of their friends came over for a steak dinner at Guy’s sister’s house. At the end of dinner, they brought Ashley the cake but it wasn’t a birthday cake. The writing on the cake read, “Ashley, marry me?” and Guy was down on one knee. Ashley was completely speechless and eventually said yes. Her parents and brother joined the party later and celebrated with champagne.
