Lisa and Chandler wanted an elegant industrial Fort Worth wedding, and the timeless and trendy venue was the perfect choice. PERFECT PROPOSAL: One of Lisa and Chandler’s favorite holiday traditions was walking through Zoo Lights, at Chicago’s Lincoln Park Zoo. Chandler thought it would be the perfect place to pop the question. On a gorgeous December night, as the couple gazed at the twinkling Christmas lights, sipping hot chocolate and snuggling. Chandler took Lisa by the hand and led her to a secret spot that overlooked the entire zoo; there, he got on one knee and asked Lisa to be his wife. Following this sweet proposal was a surprise weekend, staying at The Drake Hotel, along with some celebratory shopping, attending the Joffrey Ballet and lots of champagne.
THE SETTING: Lisa and Chandler wanted to celebrate their marriage in a space that was timeless yet trendy, which is why BRIK, a special events venue in Fort Worth, was the perfect choice. The outdoor courtyard offers a view of downtown from the Juliette balcony, while the artful detailing of the indoor space gave the venue a modern feel.
SAVORY SWEETS: The bride’s cake was a four-tiered masterpiece. Made with the signature flavor, “HoneyLove” and topped with tasty buttercream frosting, this sweet treat was a delight for the couple’s guests. The small pearl borders and pops of peonies and greenery made it look as good as it tasted!
MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT: Aside from sharing the evening with their loved ones, Lisa and Chandler’s most memorable moment from their wedding night was sharing their private last dance. The newly married couple enjoyed every second as they hugged each other close and swayed back and forth. This was a special time to reflect on their fairytale evening and dream of their happily ever after.
