Elegant Natural North Texas Wedding at The White Sparrow Barn | Maggie + Adam

SWEET BEGINNINGS: Maggie and Adam met the summer before their senior year of college at the University of Oklahoma. It wasn’t until their friends decided to go to Destin on Spring Break that Maggie began to think of Adam as more than a friend. They began to spend more time together and a few weeks after they returned from vacation, Adam asked her on a date.
A PERFECT PROPOSAL: Each summer Maggie’s family takes a trip to the Rosemary Beach, Florida area. They arrived on a Saturday morning with the plan to take pictures on the beach before dinner. Maggie had her assumptions but didn’t think Adam would propose without her sister in attendance. But on that same day, her sister arrived just in time. Everyone ventured to the beach together when suddenly it was Maggie and Adam’s turn to walk down the shore for a photo. Beside the ocean on the warm sand, Adam got down on one knee. The proposal was perfect, beautiful, spontaneous and even better than Maggie had imagined!
THE SETTING: Maggie and Adam chose The White Sparrow Barn for their ceremony and reception venue, and were beyond pleased. The big white barn with gorgeous chandeliers surrounded by green grass and blooming trees made it the perfect place. Maggie knew she wanted to be married under the trees but hoped her special day would remain elegant and classic. The space was all white, exquisite and whimsical!
AMAZING ALTAR: The aisle was lined with rose petals and the altar sat beneath trees and gorgeous lanterns. The beautiful floral arch added to the classic feel of the day. The wedding was officiated by the couple’s pastor from their home church in Allen.
BEAUTIFUL BLOOMS: Maggie’s bouquet consisted of all pink and white flowers with an organic feel. The mixture of loose greens, blush, pale pinks and ivory peonies, ranunculus, and garden roses was enchanting! The bridal bouquet had a hand-dyed silk ribbon from Froufrou Chic. Her bridesmaids’ bouquets were beautiful with three white peonies tied together with a gardenia white silk ribbon.
