Not many people find the love of their life at the age of seventeen, but that’s how it happened for Jenna and Hayden. The pair were high school sweethearts and started dating their senior year. They went off to separate colleges but that didn’t last too long. The second semester of Jenna’s freshman year she transferred from Texas State to Texas A&M where Hayden was studying. They spent the next five years building a lasting and loving relationship.

Hayden decided to propose at Jenna’s parents’ lake house. He told her they were attending a fundraiser event for an animal sanctuary where her uncle volunteered. When they arrived, she noticed the path to the water was lined with pictures and letters. Each photo had a matching letter describing that year of their relationship. At the end of the path, Hayden got down on one knee and proposed. His sister caught the proposal on camera and their families and friends ran over to hug and congratulate them.
