Mackenzie and Mauricio’s love story began in an indoor soccer arena. They both noticed each other during one of her games when he showed up early for his game. The following week, the same scene played out. As Mackenzie was finishing her game, she and Mauricio started talking and eventually made plans for a date at Miller Outdoor Theater. That was the first of a lifetime of dates!

On the day of their engagement, Mackenzie and Mauricio spent the day doing their favorite activities: soccer in the park, walking around the museum and relaxing by the pool. Mauricio made them an amazing dinner and as they were enjoying it, he popped the question! He had also written a note for her to read and then presented her with a journal compiling every note, card or drawing Mackenzie had ever given him. The next night, Mauricio planned a mini-surprise party to celebrate the engagement with their close family and friends!
