Featuring a fresh, citrusy color palette, this floral-infused affair at Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek is filled with so much romantic elegance and just a hint of rustic style. Since the venue is also a hotel, Elizabeth and Ben minimized stressful travel during their wedding weekend by taking advantage of the mansion’s elegant accommodations, and with the help of their wedding planner Engaged Events, they could really relax and take a deep breath! Clean white invitations from Hazelwood Paper Co. are adorned with the whimsical navy script and the daintiest floral designs around edges hinting to guests at what was to come in this flower-filled wedding. The coordinating menus announce the various courses of their reception dinner in the most stylish manner as well, tucked into linens with a sprig of greenery. Elizabeth and Ben planned a choreographed dance together and Elizabeth says she was a little nervous about hitting all of the moves at first, but as soon as they saw their entire wedding party gathered in a circle around the dance floor, everything just fell into place. How much better can it get than dancing to Michael Bublé under twinkle lights with all of your family and closest friends on your wedding day? Wooden decor from POSH Couture Rentals adds just a touch of rustic style to this romantic day, balancing everything out beautifully. A delectable-looking dessert bar by Savor Patisserie caters to those with a sweet tooth but their custom macarons emblazoned with the newlyweds’ initials were surely a treat for anyone who even laid eyes on this spread! Read on for a note from the bride about her favorite wedding day memory regarding a last-minute change to the wedding plans that turned out better than expected. Cheers to Elizabeth and Ben!
From the bride: “One of my absolute favorite moments about our wedding day was walking into the reception room [at Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek] for the first time after the ceremony. It was magical. We had planned to have both the ceremony and reception on the lawn, however, the weather was looking questionable and we decided to move the reception indoors. So when I walked into that ballroom for the first time and saw how absolutely beautiful and perfect it was, I almost started crying. It was better than anything I could have ever imagined.”
