My oh my, this glamorous rooftop wedding is moody, romantic, and full of champagne tones. Hunter and James could not be any cuter, and we are so excited to share their big day. The two met at pregame at a mutual friend’s apartment in Dallas. They talked the whole night and clicked right away. However, the timing wasn’t quite right. Hunter and James remained friends until 2018, when they decided to date long distance. James proposed to Hunter at the Dallas Arboretum with help from her best friend, Maddy. On the day of the proposal, Hunter broke her left ring fingernail. A very concerned James told her she needed to fix it ASAP. Immediately Hunter knew “something” was up. When they arrived at the Dallas Arboretum, James had picked out a spot and got down on one knee. Maddy, Hunter’s best friend, photographed it all and captured the “YES” moment. After the proposal, Hunter and James headed over to her uncle’s house for a surprise engagement party.
We are obsessed with all the details in Hunter and James’ glamorous rooftop wedding. First, we have to bring attention to Hunter’s stunning bridal look. Her gown and accessories from Bridal Boutique are sleek and very chic. Next, her effortless low bun from Brite Beauty and glamorous makeup from MBN Cosmetics makes for the most beautiful bridal look. Their ceremony and reception overlooked downtown Dallas while the sun began to set over the city. Golden Hour provided the perfect opportunity for the couple to take pictures that they will cherish for a lifetime. One of our favorite details of Hunter and James’ wedding is their 99-year-old flower girl. Yes, you read that right, 99 years old. Hunter’s great-grandmother was the couple’s flower girl, which was such a special and unique way to honor her. The couple enjoyed celebrating with family and friends, eating a bite of their delicious cake from Butterfly Cakery, and partying on the dance floor. Before the night ended, Hunter and James shared a private dance before heading downstairs and making their exit. Keep scrolling to see all the images captured in their glamorous rooftop wedding. Cheers to the newlyweds!
From the bride on one thing she learned: “Prioritize what’s most important to you! There are a lot of details to decide, and knocking out what’s the most important to you first makes the rest come easy.”
