We’ve instantly traveled back in time thanks to Roaming Wild Photography who captured this old-world wedding inspiration that looks as if it’s right out of “Outlander”. The castle-like estate at Aristide | Mansfield was the perfect backdrop for vows as romantic as, “blood of my blood, bone of my bone,” to be exchanged between a kilt-wearing Scotsman and his Sassenach. MK Event Boutique kicked off the Scottish Highland wedding celebration with the perfect invitation suite that featured suede twine and plants similar to those that Claire, a budding botanist, picked near the stone circle of Craigh na Dun. Orange-toned roses and other blooms from Behold Event Floral & Design surround the scene with floral romance while our bride modeled the perfect loosely curled half-up hairdo, styled by the hair artists from Grand Slam Glam, and dramatic natural glam look, created by MBN Cosmetics. Her full-length gown from Lulu’s Bridal was the perfect choice as its soft-plunge neckline and long train were seemingly overflowing with sheer-lace detailing, giving us a modern twist to Claire’s 1743 gown. No Scottish Highland wedding celebration would be complete without a dessert feast fit for the Clan Fraser of Lovat, like this one created by Batch Bakery that features a variety of delectable pies and their mini counterparts. Abundant romance plays out before our very eyes with the help of Topher Films, who filmed the air of magic surrounding this weddingscape where only love that is stronger than a marriage bond can create!
