We’re crushing hard and falling fast for our latest fashion editorial, Iconic Love, a stunning collection of statement gowns for the classic, chic bride, captured artfully in photos by Outland Weddings and on video by Ocular Pop in a modern take on classique fashion. Thompson Dallas made the perfect backdrop for this editorial where springy, flower bomb inspired installations from Blue Posy Designs set the mood for luxe, whimsical scenes we won’t soon forget. Our model bride was beyond breathtaking in each of the five statement bridal gowns from these local bridal boutiques (see credits for each below), and her wedding day looks were accented with dreamy makeup looks created by the talented JM Glamour styled with soft waves that were later sleeked into an elegant half-up hairstyle, then powerful bridal pony, all complementing the timeless and romantic vibe she carried in each of the scenes.

You’ll want to see the highlights of this wedding fashion editorial down below for an inside look behind the scenes at Iconic Love. Plus, keep reading to hear how beauty expert JM Glamour created each look below. Cheers!

Stanley Korshak Bridal Salon – Francesca Miranda “Rose” Gown

Hot off the runway and featured in Francesca Miranda’s Spring 2022 collection, this gown was designed within modern, sophisticated concepts to build structures that feel effortless and easy, yet powerful. The collection features thoughtful details rooted in craft and their characteristic Latin-American “savoir-flair,” unmissable and impossible to live without. This strapless, short style is perfect for a cityside wedding, and its train is a trendy homage to the traditional long wedding skirt.

Bridal Boutique – Berta “21-104” Style

An absolute vision in all-over chantilly and dainty lace eyelet details, this gown features a flattering trumpet silhouette and a romantic trailing train. Its straps draw eyes to the décolleté and face where your radiant wedding-day smile will be waiting on display! Berta’s high-fashion and highly admirable bridal styles have us obsessed each season and this design was no exception.

Grace Loves Lace – “Opal” Gown

Simplistic bridal fashion? Count us in! This silky high-neck style is giving all the glam while looking so effortless. Elegance is in its true form within this column silhouette and luxe satin design that can be dressed down or totally over-the-top! Paired with statement earrings like hoops or dangling diamonds, this look is fit for the Hollywood red carpet and its bridal pony pairing was a definite power move.

I dream – a bridal boutique – Pronovias Atelier “Rising” Gown

Embellishments make this sweetheart neckline so unique and eye-catching! This simple bridal gown design says so much while saying so little – with a modern feel that doesn’t sacrifice any glamorous touches. Comfy isn’t a must for wedding dresses but with this one, it’s a huge plus and soft tulle forms a gentle fit and flare silhouette with innovative, flattering seams you’d never notice.

LeAnn’s Bridal – Monica Loretti “8201” Style

Pulled from the Monica Lorettie Celeste collection, this bridal fashion style is undoubtedly a stunner! This crepe chiffon wedding gown is the perfect modern take on a classic silhouette! Timeless as ever, a beautiful square neckline and long sleeves are secured with delicate buttons. The look is finished with a low plunging back that has our hearts signed, sealed, and delivered! Of all the options for you to make this bridal look your own, we love that the dress speaks for itself on our model styled with simple waves.

From the florist, Lauren with Blue Posy Designs: “We kept it classic and elegant with various white and blush roses and threw in some longer textural elements like the white stock and white delphinium to give it dimension for the flower bomb look. We even added baby’s breath as a really pretty filler that pairs well with this particular style.”

From the hair and makeup artist, Jennifer with JM Glamour: “For this style, I wanted to achieve a natural and minimal classic look. In order to achieve a dewy look, I mixed a bit of Ilia serum with the Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter and a tad of the Make Up For Ever HD for a bit more coverage. I used the Hoola bronzer stick and the Becca Champagne Pop for some highlight and contour. I used my all-time favorite blush by Nars called Orgasm. For her eyes, I created a soft look by using the caviar stick by Laura Mercier in rose gold shimmer and blended with the Tarte bloom clay eyeshadow palette. For her lipstick, I used the Make Up For Ever liquid nude creme #8 and applied a bit of Spite lipgloss by MAC. I set her face with Studio Fix by Mac to lock in some extra hydration and finished with my favorite, the All-Nighter Setting Spray by Urban Decay setting spray! For her hair, I applied the Kenra pre-hairspray to help protect and hold her curl best. I curled it with a straightener to keep it smooth with some movement and finished with my favorite hair spray, Sebastian’s Shaper Plus.”
