Emily Frye Weds Luke Harp | Industrial Ballroom Wedding from MK Event Boutique
October 11
Emily and Luke’s industrial ballroom wedding was traditional with a little twist, and it was dazzling! Hannah Heres from MK Event Boutique worked with the couple and their incredible vendors to ensure the day was stress free and everything they dreamed. Howell and Dragon is such a beautifully unique wedding venue, and the stunning white and cream florals from 21 Parc Floral and Events helped create the romantic ambience of this dreamy reception. Thanks to DFW wedding photographer Megan Kay Photography for capturing all the loveliness!

Emily would often tag along with her roommate and her boyfriend and one night she met their friend Luke. She and Luke developed a friendship but Emily soon realized she liked Luke as more than friends. As a punishment for losing his fantasy football league, Luke had to perform a routine at a comedy club in front of his friends and strangers. Emily was immediately hooked after hearing his hilarious routine and loved how witty he was. Luke asked Emily out on a date just a few days later.
Luke and Emily planned a day in Fredericksburg as part of their Easter weekend in Austin. Luke set up a tour of one of the local wineries. A few minutes into the tour the guide stepped away to answer a phone call. That’s when Luke got on his knee and asked Emily to marry him. She started jumping up and down from excitement and said yes. They Facetimed her family while enjoying a bottle of wine.
