Alexys and Jackson first met in a bar. She was grabbing a drink post-workout and he was the third-wheel with friends. They each caught the other’s eye and chatted for a bit. As soon as it began, it ended and they parted ways. As fate would have it, Alexys and Jackson brunched at the same restaurant the following week. They recognized each other, began talking and hit things off. From that first date, they were never apart and quickly moved in together.
Six months later, Alexys and Jackson quit their jobs and moved to Dallas. Not long after, they closed on their first home. The couple decided to visit their home and, upon opening the front door, Alexys spotted a vase of flowers. Thinking they were from their realtor, she paid no mind until Jackson repeatedly asked her to read the card. The last line read, “Will you marry me?” Her heart skipped a beat as she turned to see Jackson on one knee. She happily said yes as she tackled him!
