Jenny Packham – Spring/Summer 2012 Bridal Collection

Howdy!  We’re home and honestly still a bit jet lagged from our trip to NYC for international bridal fashion week but still on a major high! Several from our team made the trip to see the newest designs released from bridal designers from around the globe and we had such a blast literally running around the streets of NYC from one exquisite runway show to the next. We can’t wait to share it all with you! In the days ahead, we’ll be sharing exclusive footage from the runway of designs that’ll make you swoon, and we’ll give you the scoop on the local boutiques that you can visit to find each fabulous line. But, you’ll have to wait until early Spring to try most of these designs on yourself since these gowns just made their debut on the runway. It’ll be worth the wait though for sure, so if you’re a Texas bride planning to wed next year, be sure to consider the gorgeous gowns we’ll be sharing and be one of the first brides to say I Do in one of these fab designs!

To kick things off, feast your eyes on the gorgeous 2012 bridal and accessories collection from Jenny Packham, carried locally at The Bridal Salon at Stanley Korshak in Dallas. This London-based designer powerhouse has made a name for herself around the world and she just opened her showroom in New York (hooray!) which we got to visit! Iconic film and music stars of recent generations have graced the red carpet wearing her designs – among them, Angelina Jolie, Cameron Diaz, Sandra Bullock, Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Lopez…and the list goes on. Her styles are also selected for film and television productions like Sex and the City, James Bond, Harry Potter and others. Jenny has also dressed the Duchess of Cambridge in one of her lovely looks as seen here in a pink sparkly number and you may have seen a similar gown on Leighton Meester in a very recent episode of Gossip Girl! Her 2012 Spring/Summer bridal collection is filled with celestial silk tulles, billowing layers of cascading silk chiffon and draped gleaming satins – you’ll love! We adore the translucent crystal detailed embroidery – a signature embellishment found on so many of the gowns in the collection!
