Fall in Love with Jewel-Toned Woodland Details in this Elopement Editorial

Planned by North Texas wedding photographer Sara Boyd Photography, this editorial turned elopement for one of its adorable model couples! Warm jewel tones and organic woodland details totally elevate these magical scenes around the Tuscan-inspired Umbra Winery at La Buena Vida Vineyards where a styled editorial shoot proved the perfect chance for Tabs and Dallas to tie the knot, surrounded by all their favorite people. Unique décor and vintage rentals from Loot Rentals bring each scene to life and add a tasteful touch to the otherwise effortless and earthy day. Al fresco dining has never looked better thanks to AM Linen Rental and the chic mixed textiles that add a touch of luxe to the tablescape. Hand-lettered calligraphy from Lonestar Letter seals the deal for an organic, nature-inspired elopement. Read on for a note from the photographer about the vision behind this jewel-toned editorial’s design. Cheers to these newlyweds!

From the photographer, Sara Boyd Photography: “I wanted to create a shoot that had a purpose. Last fall I started dreaming up a shoot that would increase representation for the LGBTQ+ community in the wedding industry, while also giving vendors an opportunity to gain LGBTQ+ content for their portfolios. I’ve found that a lot of vendors are welcoming to LGBTQ+ couples, but because they don’t have any content representing that, it’s hard for them to attract those couples. The aesthetic for this shoot was based around the venue – Umbra Winery. I wanted to create an elevated Tuscan aesthetic with unexpected warm colors and an explosion of asymmetrical flowers. About a week before the shoot, one of the couples actually decided to get married AT the shoot! So we started off the day with a quick ceremony, and then that couple got to be surrounded by people that supported their love.”
