Katie Frost is not your typical wedding planner. She loves to work with the adventurous, free-spirited couples of North Texas, helping them through the entire process of planning a wedding and taking it from daunting to doable, and fun, at that!
“I’m far from a traditional wedding planner. My personality is very wanderlust-driven. I try my best to make the planning process fun and be fully engaged with my couples,” Katie says.
Today, we’re thrilled to introduce you to Katie and show off some of her incredible work. She’s an avid traveler, a newlywed herself and forever a fan of her five precious pups. No matter if you’re jetting off to a special destination or getting married right here in the Lone Star state, Katie Frost Weddings is ready to turn your visions into reality!
A Favorite Styled Shoot

Katie says: “There are two things I love ‒ a big statement piece and lots of color. Both were achieved in this beautiful and romantic modern shoot. It all started with the starburst arch from Coral Lane and matching the gardenesque floral styling of Flourish Floral Design. I knew the two would be the perfect pair. This brought the vision of this shoot together. Every detail was strategically put together down to the colorful jalapeño margs from HD Liquid Catering.”
“I don’t feel like I have a specific style when it comes to my weddings,” Katie explains. “I try to mold my style to reflect the couple that I’m working with. I will say that I tend to fall more into the free- spirited adventure aesthetic bringing in more of a minimalist design and embracing color. Incorporating small special details that have meaning to the bride and groom is another favorite of mine. For example, we had a bride with four dogs, so she had four signature drinks each one named after one of their rescue dogs. Things like this make my heart so full.”
Real Wedding Love

“Baylee and Doug’s wedding will definitely go down as being one of my all-time favorite weddings to plan. My favorite aspect of this wedding was being able to incorporate two very unique pieces: a champagne Jeep and a neon sign! The neon was such an eye-popping focal point for the ceremony, later turned into the backdrop of our cake table, to then again be turned into a photo op for guests the remainder of the night! The champagne Jeep was used for cocktail hour and continued to serve throughout the night in the courtyard. Guests loved being served from this cute tap system!”
We’re loving these unique ideas Katie brings to life! But it’s important to her, while doing so, to steer away from ‘trendy’.
“I don’t consider myself trendy, but I am loving unique altar pieces. I’m also 100% on board with maximizing your table design with bud vases. The simplicity of a good bud vase still ceases to amaze me. I love the whimsical, organic vibe it gives off.”
Unique touches don’t have to be difficult, and Katie has a knack for knowing just what will work! To inquire about wedding planning services with Katie Frost Weddings, head to her Brides of North Texas vendor profile.
