From Campus Crush to Forever Love

Joey and Leticia, who first met at Texas A&M University, transitioned from longtime friends to partners amidst the global pandemic, with Leticia confessing her feelings over a late June phone call. Their romantic relationship officially began about a month after their first date on the Fourth of July. Joey meticulously planned his proposal at Hotel Provincial near the French Quarter, choosing the venue for its significance and arranging for a photographer to capture the moment. During an anniversary photo shoot in the courtyard, Joey proposed, leading to Leticia’s joyful acceptance. They celebrated their engagement at Molly’s, a place with sentimental value to Joey’s parents, marking the start of their journey towards marriage.
