Lisa Rice & Eric Bane

Lisa Rice and Eric Bane’s traditional light blue wedding at D’Vine Grace Vineyard is oh so elegant and beautiful. The sweet couple met on a Sunday afternoon, watching the Dallas Cowboys game. The conversation between the two flowed so naturally that they didn’t want the date to end. Their first date lasted almost seven hours… we feel like that’s a major sign he’s the one! Five years later, Eric proposed in such a sentimental way. Both Eric and Lisa’s parents got engaged the last week of May. Therefore, Eric picked a date the last week of May and proposed at the place where his parents said, “I do.” Eric decided on the date and place of the proposal because he said, “I want our marriage to be as great as our parents.” Incredibly thoughtful and sweet! The two began planning their dream wedding at D’Vine Grace Vineyard.  

The day of Lisa and Eric’s wedding began how any wedding day should start with champagne and a bridesmaid dance party in the bridal suite at D’Vine Grace Vineyard. Lisa slipped into her gown from Bridal Boutique before her first looks with her dad and Eric. Our bride, Lisa’s first look with her dad, was emotional. Lisa describes the moment as “I am definitely a daddy’s little girl. When my dad saw me, he started crying, making me cry. It was a super sweet moment.” After Lisa’s first look with her dad, she had her first look with Eric, where she said, “I cried even more.” We agree with Lisa when she says, “One thing I recommend to other brides is to do a first look, so you’re able to get all the bridal party pictures done before the ceremony.” After their chapel ceremony, the couple made their way into their reception with white tables, gold-accented decor, light pink florals, and hues of light blue. The couple kept their reception space light, traditional, and room to party on the dance floor. Lisa and her father stole the show on the dance floor with their father/daughter dancing mashup of Greece songs (her family’s favorite movie). How fun! Finally, Lisa and Eric ended the night with a family tradition on Lisa’s side of the family. A kick line to New York, New York, which they do at every wedding.
