Our very own team member, Macy, weds with a timeless neutral wedding with soft terracotta hues. Working for a bridal magazine means constantly surrounding yourself with beautiful inspo. Therefore after Macy’s beau Corbin proposed on a picnic date in Macy’s hometown, the two were ready to plan their dream wedding! Macy and Corbin met through a mutual friend in college. However, to grab Corbin’s attention Macy started showing up at his intramural softball games. Eventually, Corbin got the hint and asked Macy out. The two have been best friends ever since. Now, Macy and Corbin are ready to say “yes” to a lifetime together with a wedding filled with timeless and neutral detailing.
Macy Bryan and Corbin Shaw spent their wedding day surrounded by the people closest to them in preparation for becoming husband and wife. Corbin and Macy opted not to do a first look, so after a day full of anticipation, Macy revealed her bridal look as she walked down the aisle to Corbin. Macy, who is beautiful inside and out, looked stunning in a gown from Grace Loves Lace. Macy showed off her effortless beauty with a simple backless gown, soft curls, and a natural makeup look. After choosing each other forever, Macy and Corbin made their way into their timeless and neutral wedding reception. Inside, hues of terracotta florals and candle-lit tablescapes made for a timeless space. One of our favorite details is the couple’s light-up sign “Better Together” because we know these two are soulmates.
Macy and Corbin never had to worry about missing a moment from their special day. By The Millers captured their wedding beautifully and never missed a single moment. Macy recalls, “the rest of the night was spent with our closest friends and family during the best party ever! We were so grateful to be surrounded by all the people we loved and who played a hand in bringing us to this day!” We couldn’t be happier for the new Mr. & Mrs. Shaw! One thing Macy Bryan & Corbin Shaw learned while planning their wedding:
“Don’t be afraid to lean on people! Wedding planning is a lot of work. When people genuinely want to help take the load off of you, don’t feel bad about letting them do that! Enjoy the process with the people who love you!”
