Kalen Fraser Weds Andy White | Modern Barn Wedding Captured by Meggie Taylor Photography

Hidden Creek Events is where Kalen and Andy chose to say “I do!” With a modern twist, they transformed a typical barn wedding into something spectacular, and Meggie Taylor Photography was there to capture every detail of their special day. Beautiful Event Rentals provided lovely decor pieces that tied their burgundy and navy-colored modern barn wedding together. If you ask Kalen and Andy how they met, they may give you two different answers but both are correct. Andy says they met at a bar but Kalen says they met at church. The couple met up with mutual friends at their weekly young adult church service and the group grabbed food afterwards. They were officially introduced to each other at the restaurant and hit it off. They dated for the next three years before Andy was ready to pop the question.

Kalen was planning her mother’s fiftieth birthday party so Andy used that distraction to plan the perfect proposal. Andy told Kalen that he couldn’t fly to Kansas City for the party because he had to work. Kalen and her family went to her mom’s favorite restaurant and when they were led upstairs Kalen’s mom pushed her outside to the balcony where Andy was waiting for her. He got down on one knee and Kalen was so surprised that she couldn’t even speak so she nodded yes!
