Is a Modern Southwest Style Wedding For You? This One May Help You Decide
January 3
Made of equal parts succulent and modern southwest style, we are currently crushing on Karoline and Kevin’s desert-chic wedding. Held at the stunning and industrial Hickory Street Annex and planned by Maxwell + Gray, this affair features a glam take on native style. A plethora of cacti, pale blooms and pampas grass from Billie Ball & Co. make the perfect backdrop for the altar. The bride’s dreamy chiffon and lace gown from a&bé bridal shop features all our favorite things — an A-line waist, lacey sleeves and a lovely, flowing train. We love the way the bride is styled by Brittany Jones Beauty with beautiful loose waves and simple, neutral bridal makeup so that her natural beauty is able to shine through. These fine points carry on the whimsical, feminine aesthetic that perfectly contrasts with the roughness of a desert landscape. Our favorite part is the live ceremony portrait of the bride and groom painted on display throughout the celebration by Julia McNally Fine Art & Live Event Painting. We wish we were on the guest list for this succulent and modern southwest style wedding! Cheers to Karoline and Kevin!

From the bride: “I could not have done anything or been calm without Katie with Billie Ball & Co. and Stacy with Maxwell + Gray. They got the vision and helped us feel confident with any out-of-the-box decisions. They were so excited about everything with us from the beginning. Katie went above and beyond for us. She helped so much with the design aspect of everything and knew I could trust her with everything! I could not have been more grateful for her through this process.”
