If breathtaking views or scenic fields of flowers are your thing, you will obsess over this mountainside engagement shoot from Opal & Onyx Photography! Jillian and Ethan first met after a worship night they attended with friends on their college campus and the rest, as they say, was history! Ethan popped the question this April, and the two decided that instead of waiting around for the pandemic to end, they would roll with the punches and plan through it! Though their wedding day vision was altered due to COVID-19, the pair say they are blessed that their intimate family wedding would allow for a greater focus on what is truly important – sharing their love and commitment with each other and bonding with families! Now married, Jillian and Ethan’s corona wedding featured a gorgeous palette of dusty blue, grey and blush and they centered their celebration around a classy romantic meets iconic Fort Worth theme! Their love for each other is so apparent in this mountainside engagement shoot, so we know their wedding gallery is sure to be just as lovely. Read on to hear from now-bride Jillian about how Ethan proposed! Cheers to these newlyweds!

From the bride: “After one of our first dates, we took a walk at Airfield falls near Fort Worth. It is an extremely precious spot for both of us, where many of our first memories were made. So like many times before, Ethan and I took a morning walk near the sweet little waterfall. As I was taking in the beauty, he slipped down on one knee and asked me to be his partner for life.”
