Natalie Jellad and Jeff Mann’s Romantic Boho Wedding by Keestone Events
SWEET BEGINNINGS: Natalie and Jeffrey met in 2009 when she started working as a host at a brewery in Seattle. She noticed a cute guy walking around who turned out to be a manager in training. After a few weeks of small talk, he was transferred to a different location. Over the course of the next year, Natalie would pop in and say hello. Then one day she decided she would invite him to meet her and a few friends at a bar, and to her surprise, he showed up! About a week later he asked her out on a formal date to see Avatar in 3D at the Seattle Center, and the rest is history!
PERFECT PROPOSAL: On one typical rainy Seattle day, Jeff took Natalie back to the location of their first date. There was a music festival going on, so they walked around and watched the different bands play. A little bit later, Natalie’s parents and brother joined them. Jeff started getting super awkward, and she immediately knew what he was up to. He took her to an open field right under the space needle and proposed with her family watching. Natalie was a crying mess, but obviously, she said yes!
ROMANTIC BOHO: Natalie and Jeff consider themselves pretty laid back people, so she knew she didn’t want anything too structured or traditional. She did, however, still want it to be timeless, and wanted Jeff to like it as well. They ended up going with a romantic boho theme with a color palette of burgundy, plum, ivory, blush and a lot of greens. They both love deep reds and dark greens, so it was the perfect compromise!
BEAUTIFUL BLOOMS: Stems of Dallas made the most beautiful altar scene which was set up with gold candles and huge floral arrangements in large gold vases on each side, with their unity candle. Stems also created Natalie’s cascading bridal bouquet of burgundy and plum hues, with burgundy peonies, dahlias, plum ranunculus and plenty of greens, wrapped in Silk and Willow ribbon.
SPECIAL TOUCHES: About 10 minutes after Jeff and Natalie got engaged, they got a caricature drawn. So it was a must that they had a caricature artist at their wedding to draw their guests as a special keepsake/party favor.
