Danielle and Jesse met on the Southwestern Baptist Seminary campus where they would often “accidentally” run into each other. After hours of talking by the school’s pond, Danielle and Jesse finally made it official. Two and a half years later, Jesse decided to recreate their very first date. They met outside of the dorms, had dinner at the same restaurant and sat in the same row they had sat in numerous times in the school’s chapel. Throughout the night he gave her letters that expressed exactly what he was thinking that very first night. Finally, they took a walk to the school’s pond where Jesse gave Danielle the last letter, asking her to marry him.
The happy couple will say, “I do” this May at Prestonwood Baptist Church, where Danielle will be proudly wearing her mother’s veil to honor her parent’s commitment to each other and the example they have lived for Danielle.
