You Would Never Know This Day Started Out With the Bride Forgetting her Wedding Dress!

What started with Anna actually forgetting her wedding dress the day of, ended up being the most perfect day she had always dreamed of! Billy and Anna met at a summer camp in East Texas called Camp Huawni where they began their relationship as friends. Billy ended up writing Anna a letter in the mail where he confessed his feelings for her… that is where their love story began!

Billy and Anna got married at The Nest at Ruth Farms in a modern, elegant and organic barn wedding. Keeping a clean and minimalist look, their wedding planner, Julep Events, used white florals with accents of blush and baby blue along with touches of greenery for an organic style. For her wedding day look, Anna honored her family by wearing her mom’s wedding veil atop simple and classic hair and makeup styled by Brite Beauty.

Anna also has some advice for all of you future brides before you walk into the planning process: “The biggest lesson I learned while wedding planning was that no matter what curveballs were thrown our way during our engagement and planning (like an entire pandemic – who would have guessed that?!), the only thing that matters is that by the end of our wedding day, I’ll be married to my best friend and favorite person in the world.
