Trinity River Audubon Center provided the perfect outdoor backdrop for Lola and Armando’s organic lavender wedding. Located outside of Dallas, Trinity River Audubon is home to the largest urban hardwood forest in the United States. An ideal place to say “I do” for an outdoorsy couple. Armando and Lola met through mutual friends, and on a December night, Armando popped the question in Kylde Warren Park. Lola described the proposal as “the most dreamy night.”
When it came time to plan their wedding, the couple opted for organic earth tones and a ceremony surrounded by lush greenery. Their wedding day could not have been more beautiful! On a May evening with perfect weather, Armando and Lola vowed to spend the rest of their lives together. After the ceremony, Lola and Armando snuck away to grab some newlywed photos with Melissa Claire Photography. Melissa captured the love and beauty of the couple while also being their guiding light for the entire wedding day. The couple rejoined their guests and entered their organic reception space completed with earth tone rentals from POSH Couture. Guests enjoyed a Mexican-style dinner buffet as they watched Lola and Armando dance to “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran for their first dance. At last, the new Mr. and Mrs. Martinez left the night with sparklers flickering as they waved goodbye to guests. From the bride on her most helpful vendor: “Melissa Claire was definitely our guiding light that day. For example, I had no sense of time, it was just one event after another but she was the voice that led us through it.”
