Step inside AlyJo and Tyler’s magical pastel garden tea party. This wedding is every girl’s dream full of love, joy, and vintage teacups and saucers. AlyJo first met her prince charming after being introduced by her two older siblings. Their friendship began when AlyJo started her first year at Texas A&M and Tyler started his sophomore year. AlyJo asked Tyler to her first date party, thinking he wouldn’t get the wrong idea and ask her on an actual date. Since Tyler was friends with her older siblings, she never thought he would develop feelings for her. However, Tyler thought otherwise and began to grow strong feelings for AlyJo. The two continued to hang out with AlyJo’s siblings and study together at coffee shops. What AlyJo thought was a solid friendship, Tyler saw as a mutual romantic interest. Just before Thanksgiving, Tyler asked AlyJo out on their first official date. Despite being completely surprised by his motion, AlyJo gladly accepted the invitation. The two officially started dating, and after a year and a half of falling deeply in love, Tyler asked AlyJo to marry him.
AlyJo and Tyler’s pastel garden tea party at Margot Hill began early on a rainy May morning. What began as a day forecasted to rain ended up being a lovely sunny day. A true gift from God because AlyJo had never stopped praying or hoping for sunshine on her special day. AlyJo and her bridesmaids shared the excitement of what the day held as they got ready. When it came time for AlyJo to get into her dress to show her bridesmaids, the room escalated with excitement. AlyJo had kept what her dress looked like from everyone but her mom and sister. Therefore, her bridesmaids were eager to see what their bride would be wearing to the altar. AlyJo looked stunning in an off-the-shoulder silk dress from the Bridal Boutique. The best part about her bridal look… her gorgeous hat, perfect for a garden tea party. After the couple shared their vows and became husband and wife, guests made their way into the tented garden party. Inside, fresh pastel blooms, greenery, and antique teacups and saucers adorned each table. Guests and the couple enjoyed a brunch full of mimosas, quiche, cinnamon rolls, and much more. As the pastel garden tea party came to an end guests tossed lavender as the couple climbed in an old orange mustang. Tyler and and AlyJo stayed the night at The Adolphus Hotel before leaving for their Lake Tahoe honeymoon the following day. From the bride, “My favorite wedding vendor was Abby Misegades with Margot Hill. She made my wedding day so enjoyable and communicated with me consistently throughout the whole process to ensure that I felt good about everything. Also, she is a ton of fun and only added to the excitement of the day!”
