Amanda was at a bar with a group of friends when she noticed Ryan from across the room. Her friends soon noticed that she was checking him out so her guy friends offered to casually chat with Ryan about Amanda. It totally worked and he ended up asking her out that night. They dated for the summer and had a long distance relationship for a while but eventually decided to break up. Nearly seven years later they reconnected and became inseparable.

Ryan and Amanda are huge dog lovers so it was only natural for Ryan to incorporate Amanda’s dog into the proposal. One morning he brought Amanda breakfast in bed and she noticed that her dog Lily was wearing a new collar. A beautiful diamond ring was attached to her collar with a bow. Ryan asked Amanda to marry him and she said yes.
