Maegan and Tommy’s love was written in the stars, so they dreamed up a celestial themed wedding which was subtly highlighted throughout the reception space ­with hanging stars and monograms, star-topped specialty cocktails and a crescent moon photo ­op outside! Tommy and Maegan met while working at the same courthouse. They kept running into each other and Tommy eventually requested to be Maegan’s friend on Facebook. They flirted a little on social media, had lunch together and went on their first date to the Byron Nelson golf tournament. Soon after, they became an official couple.

Maegan thought that she was on the way to a secret anniversary dinner for Tommy’s parents. The couple was in the middle of building a home together so Tommy made a quick detour to the lot and said he wanted to show Maegan something. They stood in the middle of the framing of the house and Tommy got down on one knee. After Maegan said yes, she heard the clicking of a camera – a photographer had captured the big moment. Family members came out of hiding from a nearby nature trail. Everyone went out to dinner for their engagement party.
