From the bride: “My dad loved thunderstorms, and when I was little and would wake up scared because of thunder, he and I would watch them and count the distance between the lightning and thunder. So having a thunderstorm come through before and during our ceremony was very special to me and really made me feel that he was there with us celebrating. In the middle of the ceremony right after Jeremy said, ‘I will,’ there was a huge crack of forked lightning over the lake – I think most people laughed at the timing and idea of my dad emphasizing that statement!”
