Sarah and Austin met the summer before her senior year of college at the lake. They both went to the lake looking to make memories with friends and instead, left with a crush. Over the next year, the pair got together often but were hesitant to jump into a relationship. Before her graduation, Sarah invited Austin to a church potluck that became their official beginning.

On their two-year anniversary, Sarah and Austin went back to the lake to reunite with friends – or so she thought. After a long day on the lake, the group settled on the deck to watch a summer lightning storm. Austin saw this an opportunity to propose, but when he returned, a large crowd had gathered so he changed his mind. Finally, the crowd dispersed and he sat next to her. Austin began saying the sweetest, most thoughtful things to Sarah who didn’t even let him ask the question before she said yes!
